Your X Recap, in story cards

X Recap turns your recent activity on X (Twitter) into vertical story cards, one discovery per card: who you talk with most, who writes to you more than you write back, what kind of poster you are, and the hour you post most. Each card downloads as a PNG in two formats: 3:4 (1080×1440), which fits a post on X, or 9:16 (1080×1920), the size of an Instagram, TikTok or X story. Switching format redraws every card for it, it does not crop.

The cards

• My X Recap: the summary to post, with your top mutuals, your biggest fans, your interactions and your X personality.
• My top mutuals: the five people you interact with most, ranked with the same score as X Circle.
• #1 mutual: the person at the top, among those who talk with you both ways.
• Biggest fan: someone who wrote to you at least 5 times and at least twice as often as you wrote back.
• One-sided friendship: someone you wrote to at least 5 times who wrote back less than a quarter as often.
• Mutual obsession: at least 3 posts each way, and neither side more than one and a half times the other.
• X personality: the mix of your own posts, replies, quotes and reposts, from at least 100 posts.
• Prime time: the hour of the day you post most, in your time zone, from at least 150 posts written on 5 different days.
• Inner three: how much of your activity goes to your top three people, from at least 100 interactions.
• Hype person: whoever quoted or mentioned you most, at least 3 times.

How the numbers stay fair

X Recap reads two things: your own posts, and the posts by other people that mention you. For a busy account those cover very different stretches of time: your last 200 posts might go back two months while 200 mentions go back two days. Comparing them as they are would make almost everyone look one-sided.

So every card that compares you with someone uses only the days both readings cover, and says how many at the bottom. The cards about your own posts, like your X personality and prime time, use everything that was read.

What it does not do

• It sees public posts only: no likes, no follows, no direct messages, nothing from private accounts. A fan here is someone who replies, quotes or mentions you.
• It covers up to the last 30 days, not your whole year, and never more than the latest ~3,200 posts X shows for an account.
• It depends on a free third-party service that reads public X posts. When that service is slow or down, X Recap is too. When X search is not available, X Recap reads the replies under your latest posts instead, and quotes and mentions by others are not counted until search is back.

Where your data goes

The username you type is sent from this tab to a third-party service that reads public X posts, and the profile photos load from X's own image server. The cards are counted and drawn in your browser. CutNoodle's servers are not involved, and nothing is saved. The details are in the privacy policy.
