Public signals, explained

Check an X accountโ€™s public visibility

Compare a public account across search, recent posts and reply conversations. No login, no made-up shadowban score.

Public X accounts only. No login is required. Open data and privacy details for more information.

What you get

X Visibility Check is a public diagnostic, not a detector with access to X's internal moderation systems. It compares what the same account exposes in its profile and timeline with what public search and conversations return, then shows each result separately.

How the visibility check works

  1. Public profile: confirms that the exact account exists, is public and is reachable without an account login.
  2. Account suggestions: asks X's public typeahead for the exact username. Not appearing is recorded, but never treated as proof by itself because suggestions are ranked.
  3. Recent-post search: reads up to twelve posts from the last fourteen days and looks for those exact permanent post IDs in a separate from:username Latest search.
  4. Reply conversations: for up to three recent replies, opens the parent conversation and checks whether the reply appears on its first public page.

How to read the result

  • No public visibility anomaly found means the sampled recent posts appeared in public search and no checked reply was missing. It does not promise normal recommendation reach.
  • Some signals need a closer look means the public timeline and another public surface did not match. The page shows exactly which posts were missing and the ordinary technical causes that remain possible.
  • Inconclusive means there was too little recent activity or a public data source did not answer. The tool refuses to turn missing evidence into a verdict.

What it cannot see

The check cannot inspect personalized For You recommendations, follower feeds, notifications, blocks or mutes, and it cannot read private enforcement labels. X says reach is determined by many signals and can also be affected by filters, experiments and technical issues. A public diagnostic can observe symptoms; only X can identify the internal cause.

Independent use of X public data

CutNoodle uses the name X only to identify the platform being checked. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by X Corp. The page does not use the X logo or reproduce X's interface. Public posts remain the property of their respective authors and are linked as evidence rather than republished as CutNoodle content.

Where your data goes

The username and public-data requests go directly from this browser tab to FxTwitter. FxTwitter receives the request, your IP address and ordinary technical information. CutNoodle does not receive or save the username, the sampled posts or the result. See the privacy policy.

Common questions

Does this prove that an account is shadowbanned?

No. X does not publish a general shadowban status for arbitrary accounts, and visibility differs across search, replies, recommendations and each viewer. The tool reports observable public signals and keeps unavailable or ambiguous checks inconclusive.

What does the check look at?

It verifies that the public profile is reachable, looks for the exact account in public suggestions, compares recent timeline posts with Latest search, and checks a small sample of recent replies in their parent conversations.

Why can a visible account still get a warning?

Search indexing delays, sensitive-content filters, reply ranking, pagination and temporary API failures can resemble a visibility limit. That is why every warning includes the evidence and never becomes a definitive accusation.

Can it check For You reach or notifications?

No. Those surfaces are personalized and are not exposed through the public data used here. The check also cannot read X's internal labels or tell how many people were shown a post.

Is this an official X tool?

No. CutNoodle is independent from X Corp and FxEmbed. It reads public information through FxTwitter, an independent unofficial service, and does not ask for an X login.
